So this is Part Two of my long Holy Saturday. This is really the more exciting part. It's got God, a cute girl and me getting literally weak in the knees.

It was a very long day. I'm going to break this into two entries, for those who wish to skim. Part One below, is a description of the Puzzle Party that took up most of the day. Part Two, to follow, is my thoughts on the Easter Vigil Mass and my rather uncowardly connection with T.

The day was long, but very good.

My brain is still a bit sluggish from the 28-hour work-puzzle-Mass-athon, so I'll probably write more later. (The observant among you will notice the very afternoonish time of this journal entry. My feet have been cleansed, following the mandate of Christ. The cryptic is now pretty much finished and is waiting for its solvers. This has not happened before in a novel. Occasionally (well more than occasionally, really) I've been afflicted with an infatuation for a fictional character on the big screen, or more often on the small. Both of these were different, though, because dramatic characters ( Read more... )

I had to run some errands this morning: mailed some bills, filled a prescription (remember to pick it up on the way home from work) and picked up some blank videotapes to tape Sesame Street for veek.
